We hire people who can carry, wrap, and keep a stairwell civil. If you want a sales floor, this is the wrong dock. If you want a truck that leaves at seven, keep reading.
The yard
A small crew, early starts, and Friday that actually ends.
Ashkelon Cart is not a national brand with a rotating cast. The same dock, the same triangle of cities, the same habit of writing stairs and pianos on the note. We pay for the day that was worked, not for the story you tell at interview.
Hebrew is the language of the stairwell. English helps at the desk. A driving licence is useful; a back that already knows a third-floor walk-up is more useful.

Docket B
Packer — paper & lots
Wrap glass in paper, close cartons square, label rooms so the unload is not a treasure hunt. Kitchen and breakables are the test, not the books.
Docket C
Driver — short-haul
Know the triangle. Park without inventing a second job for the crew. Keep the truck legal, the blankets counted, and Friday departures honest.
A day on the truck
Coffee, cartons, a stair count, then the road to Ashdod or inland.
07:00 at 5 HaNegev Street. Blankets, tape, water, the day’s addresses. You will meet households who are tired and buildings that have rules. We expect you to be the calm one.
We do not send people alone on piano jobs. We do not pretend a third-floor sofa is “light if you are motivated.” If a load is stupid, the yard manager says so before you leave the bay.
What we look for
Proof in the stairwell, not in a slogan.
- You pad what you would not want scratched in your own building.
- You can close a carton so it stacks, and you do not hide broken glass in “misc.”
- You show up for the Friday half-day and you do not vanish when the piano is mentioned.
- You treat customers’ neighbours as people who still have to live on that landing tomorrow.
How to apply
A mail to the yard, or a knock on the bay door.
Send your name, phone, which docket you want, and whether you can start before 07:00. We answer during Sun–Thu 07:00–18:00 and Friday 07:00–13:00. Saturday the dock is closed — do not wait on the street.
